WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO HOST A SCREENING?
You can bring this film to your parish, your theater, your living room, or your city. Kinema handles the ticketing. You gather the people.
Kinema is a platform designed for independent films. It allows you to create your own screening page, set your ticket price, and manage your event all in one place. Once your page is live, you simply share your link through your newsletter, social media, website, or parish communications.
How does it work?
You pick the venue, date, and time. Kinema provides the film and handles tickets. Your audience buys directly through your link. That is the whole system.
CAN WE INCLUDE A FILMMAKER Q&A?
Yes. You can request a live filmmaker Q&A as an add-on to your screening. This takes place after the film and allows your audience to engage directly in conversation.
WHO CAN HOST?
Parishes, theaters, schools, film societies, and community leaders. If you have a space and people to gather, you can host.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE SIGN UP?
Once your screening is approved, you get access to your Kinema page and a set of assets to help spread the word locally. Then you share your link and start inviting people.
INTERESTED IN HOSTING AN UNTICKETED EVENT?
WOULD YOU LIKE TO LICENSE THE FILM?
Licensing is a natural fit for organizations that want to sponsor a screening or host a dedicated event. It provides access to share the film within your community, in a way that aligns with your gathering.
